River Levels Campmor REI Trail Information Scuba Diving resources
Well, I used to go swimming, scuba diving, hiking, floating, camping and exploring all the time. I've got a pool now, but during the summer months I spend more time cleaning it than I do swimming. A few years back, I went scuba diving on the reefs off Cozumel and after diving in the sea, lakes and strip pits just aren't much fun anymore. I was never a serious hiker, I have covered most of the Ozarks Highland Trail, but never got serious enough to take on the Appalachian, or Pacific West Rim trail or anything like that. I have sixteen plus acres and have trails cut throughout the woods, I walk these trails often. I love my trails. One of these days when I'm out west, I plan on hiking Bright Angel Trail in Grand Canyon and maybe taking the raft ride down the Colorado (plan a year in advance, I know). I haven't been floating all that much, but I thoroughly enjoy it on those rare occasions I get the chance. My last overnight trip on the Buffalo was one of the most enjoyable. River camping is great. I have explored by roads and trails most of the scenic areas within 100 miles of here. Lots of beautiful places in this state, but I have been to most of them numerous times. It's time to explore! I like it out west. |
